This tin thing The picture was taken some time in
1979 during a “blonker” gig at “Onkel Pö’s Carnegie Hall”. We had brought
our “rhythm-tins” – empty tins we had refilled with some rice and then
sealed up again -, which we used to distribute among the audience after
having played a few titles, so everyone could participate and share the
music. After some initial hesitation the audience usually joined in
enthusiastically, in fact they never wanted to stop, and we had a wonderful
session. In front: Dieter Geike, in the back Kay Jessen distributing the
tins. |
