"The Rondos" about 1963/64
After having listened to “Bill Haley and the Comets”, Elvis, and many others on "Radio Luxemburg", we became a little bored with Dixieland music. Gerd Pramor bought himself a “Philicorda” organ, I was given a rock guitar by my aunt Erna in Dresden and we founded “The Rondos”. The members from left to right: Gerhard Pramor: organ, Michael “Mike” Safaris: bass, Dieter Geike: guitar, Werner Hinrichs: drums.
